Civil War Memorials Reading

Civil War Memorials J. Pepper Bryars:  This author's best point was that every person who did their part and lost their lives because of the war should be remembered properly, not just lie there in an unlabeled grave.  LeeAnna Keith: This author's best point was that we are making statues, or monuments, to the wrong people. She believes that we should be making monuments to the people more behind the scenes, for example Reverend Lakin's wife Achsah Newton Lakin.  David Person:  This author's best point was that a group of people in South Carolina (SCSP) is trying to show the confederate flag as a monument and have it flown all over the state. The argument between this group and the people telling them no is that the flying of this particular flag has mixed definitions.  The author that I agree with the most is J. Pepper Bryars because I think its very sad that these people sacrificed their lives for our country and they aren't being honored...
